The single-nozzle mounthead Midas is perfect for fine-pitch components, while the multi-nozzle mounthead HYDRA delivers increased placement speed. Mydata mount heads combine versatility and accuracy whilst still delivering fast placement speed and impressive production throughput. The Midas mount head is designed for ultra-sharp precision and is able to handle any type of component from QFPs and BGAs to 01005s, as well as complex components such as CSPs. An assortment of additional tools means that it can also place odd-shaped components such as long connectors.
HYDRA Speedmount is the undisputed leader in high-speed placement for the high-mix segment. It can handle eight different components simultaneously, and can significantly increase your throughput. Throughput is further improved by the built-in Automatic Tool Exchanger (ATE) which enables different sized components to be assembled in the same mount cycle, and automatic optimization software that ensures the quickest possible route is used to pick and place components. The basic HYDRA mounts all components from 0402 chips to SO14s, while the HYDRA ER handles a broader range: from ultra-small 0201s to mid-size ICs, as well as QFPs and BGAs. These mountheads are options for our single-head machines.
Also available as custom designs, Mydata nozzles featuring: ESD Ceramic Tips, XL Melf nozzles, Micro Thin nozzles, Flat pipe or Slot nozzles, Multi-port nozzles, and Gripper nozzles. We also offer rework on original and aftermarket Mydata Midas nozzles. Our standard rework price include: new slider shaft, new inner spring, new tip, and newly designed nozzle face flange.
